Dancing without shoes

and so i played the music
swayed thru the graceful beats
closed my eyes and started to reminisce
those memoirs of my past

like a kite floating with the air
i moved like it's my last
whether in pain i'll still do
wherever this dance will go

changing pace every second
i'm sweated all over
every single note flowed thru my veins
as stopping was in my oblivion

started with a stride
followed by instinct and might
repeated in harmonious mind
then rhythm took its part

and the dance was still in to
though i had a part of it
so i played it in my way
grooved to what's inside

my thoughts sounded crazy
and these bare feet gone lefties
had nothing but this empty heart
can i have just a cup of coffee?

there were rocks under my feet
and they do hurt
but i must go on with
until the last note was heard

Fitting Feat

Subtle hurting alone normal Smiling hidden hopeless pained Down sigh inside restless Surrendering quiting stopping fading No not nay never - This is a one-worded line poem, A minimalist approach in expressing one's feelings or emotions  in a form of poetry. Instead of using multiple or group of words in a line, it is written using a single word that expresses the author's thoughts and story. The single word in a line, however, compliments and support each other to tell a story and the thought of the poem.

Human or Machine

I'd rather be an imperfect man Than a well-made machine For I am a man who would fight for what I believe And not what a software told me too Being different doesn't make you wrong As long as you believe that you're right And you know the real meaning of wrong But wrong is wrong and never will be right Your works may be evident But never what's in your head They may judge with your actions But never with your heart -3i

Impact of Technology to Human's Spiritual Dimension

The world is fast changing, and with these changes, people rely on technologies to address these changes. There are some issues that I think are worth discussing when it comes to the spiritual or theological dimensions of technology namely: birth control, Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMO), and cloning. The population is increasing. What should we do? The primary solution that the government tapped is birth control. There are two types of birth control: the Natural and the Artificial. Either of the two is no doubt, technology. But it is not appropriate (the Artificial way, at least) when we are talking about religion or Theology. In our country, being a Catholic Nation, people are debating. Everyone has their opinion. Another solution offered was the use of Genetically-Modified Organisms which are engineered to address the limitations of the natural varieties. There is still the issue of the safety in consuming them but the issue regarding Theology is about the alteration of the g...
