Kanino nga ba napunta ang  piso ni rizal?
Sa bayan ba o sa iilang marangal?
Na akala mo’y  kung sinong
May-ari ng mundo
Tila walang nagbago
Sa takbo naring bayan
Kung sino ang nakapwesto’y
Siyang tila hari
Nalulunod sa kapangyarihan
At nagkakamal ng salapi
Wari’y bingi sa tinig ng sambayanang sawi
Pisong pinagpawisan
Dugo ang naging puhunan
Nahulog lang sa balon
Ng makapangyarihan

Impact of Technology to Human's Spiritual Dimension

The world is fast changing, and with these changes, people rely on technologies to address these changes. There are some issues that I think are worth discussing when it comes to the spiritual or theological dimensions of technology namely: birth control, Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMO), and cloning. The population is increasing. What should we do? The primary solution that the government tapped is birth control. There are two types of birth control: the Natural and the Artificial. Either of the two is no doubt, technology. But it is not appropriate (the Artificial way, at least) when we are talking about religion or Theology. In our country, being a Catholic Nation, people are debating. Everyone has their opinion. Another solution offered was the use of Genetically-Modified Organisms which are engineered to address the limitations of the natural varieties.
